Optional parts, and what they cost you
During setup, the app asks what you want. It installs nothing you skip, and you can add any part later.

What happens when you open it
- Open the installer. On macOS, drag Mentor Factory into Applications.
- Choose the optional parts you want, or skip them. Your computer may ask for your password while the open-source components install.
- Sign in with your email. We send you a link, so there’s no password to remember.
- Ask one of the three starter mentors a question straight away, or drop in a digital course, or any digital material (video, audio, ebooks, PDFs), to build your own. Before anything is charged, you see what can be read and what can’t.
If a mentor stops answering
First, check status. If a model call fails, the cause is usually an upstream outage, not your computer. If the status page shows everything working and your mentors are still silent, write to support@mentorfactory.ai and include the version number from the app.
